Air pollution against system guidance plan

To improve the public’s understanding of policies made by Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) and enhance their knowledge and consciousness of air pollution prevention, EPA utilizes public mass media marketing to promote air pollution prevention. Through organizing activities, EPA aims to build an active image so as to increase their satisfaction rates. In response to related policies, EPA produces four promotion short films: “Quietness Logo,” “Report High-emitting Automobiles and Motorcycles,” “Prevent Noise from Karaoke and Building Renovations,” and “Indoor Air Quality.” These four short films are arranged for broadcasting in cable and wireless TV, Taiwan Railways Administration TV channels, and Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation TV channels. Aiming at main points in policy promotion, EPA also designed four posters and advertisements as follows: “Choose and Purchase Environmental Cars,” “Report High-emitting Automobiles and Motorcycles,” “Prevent Noise from Karaoke and Building Renovations,” and “Report Motor vehicle noise”—posters are printed and published in national magazines and newspapers. As needed by specific projects and EPA policies, three activities are hosted: “quietness logo selected Press Conference,” “A green passage of the bicycle symposium,” and “Refreshing Gift for the Loved Ones in Chinese Valentine’s Day.” With paper promotion production, EPA completes project promotion plans; with public mass media marketing, EPA attempts to improve the public’s understanding of EPA policies as well as to enhance their knowledge and consciousness toward air pollution prevention.
